Salvation Message

If you are truly sincere on wanting to know God, the TRUTH, then the angels in heaven are about to rejoice.

Why, because Jesus says   ‘ In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. Luke 15:10″   You see, God really does care about you that much.  When someone gives their heart to the Lord, they sins are put on the cross, and they escape eternal punishment that cast them from the presence of God.   They are at a moment’s time, restored as a true child of the Lord.   There is such an explosion of joy in the angels that they let out a shout of cheer, the heavens are notified!!  Praise God-

We should never think this process is complicated.  It is not, but it does take a humble heart before God.  We must come to Him like a child, openly and honestly.  Mark 10:14 When Jesus saw this,…. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

The message is simple.  This well known scripture is still true today, still true for you.

‘For God so love the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life- JN. 3:16’

Jesus also says in Luke 13:5, we must repent.  That means change our direction.  This change must take place by going to the One who loves us.  With the Holy Spirit working from within us-God can truly help us change our lives Gal. 5:14-25.

Jesus understands this decision may be ‘appear difficult’, leaving the life of sin can come at a cost.   He promises however He will be there to help us

Matthew 11:29-30  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.   For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

What you are about to do is receive what Jesus did on  cross.   He took your sins, your punishment before God and placed them on Himself.  When we receive His gift of salvation, we become a child of God, our sins are washed away on the cross and we will also be raised with Him in heaven 2 Tim. 2:11.   Let’s come to Him as we are.   He understands we are not perfect and have sinned, but desires to forgive us as we come to Him.

Right now, let’s get real with Jesus.

Say this prayer to Jesus –say it like He is right there with open arms standing beside you-

‘Jesus, I come to you like a child, I need you Lord.  Jesus I ask You right now into my heart, to come into my life.   I receive your  gift of eternal life and believe that you died and took my sins on the cross, and rose from the dead.  I believe my sins, through You are washed away, and I will spend eternity with you forever.  Lord, I will serve You and worship You, truly making You my God and Lord.   I ask You to Baptize me with Your Holy Spirit-Amen.’

Romans 10:9 says that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe  in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Through faith, we enter into the family of God as His child. Galatians 3:26-29, He is also our Lord.  This means although we are heirs to a kingdom, we are also servants.  One of the most important verses in the Word is

Matt. 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Start to praise Him and serve Him, and He will continue to make His love and strength stronger and stronger in your heart (Ephesians 3:14-21).  To learn more about Jesus, and become strong in our Christian walk, we need to pray and ask Him to help us find a good church.  Find one that believes His Word is truly from God.  I also recommend what is called a ‘Spirit filled church’, or one that believes in the baptism of the Holy Spirit.’  If you like, you can contact me from this web site, to help make some of the choices that are needed to start our Christian walk.  This web site also contains a reference list with materials from men and women of God who use His Word to help guide us.  Feel free to read the topics on this web site.  See Understanding the One True God

God bless you in your new walk as a Christian
