Donald Trump, A Christians Perspective
Wanted to share what some of the Christian leaders and prophets are pointing out in both the political and church movements.
While these believers may not be a mass majority, they do however seem to have common characteristics
-They all are seeking the well being of our country and are not trying to pursue their personal interest.
-They relationship to the Lord has priority over their position in the Christian community. They are not ones who rely on their reputation, but on what they hear from the Lord.
-For many, they are surprised the Lord is moving in this area. It is their first time they have been directed to publicly support a political figure. To some, they have been apprehensive to include this agenda in their pulpits. They are not saying it is wrong to do so, just surprised by the Lords leading them to mention candidates from the political arena.
-This ‘voice’ from the Spirit has mainly come from the 5 offices appointed by the Lord-apostle, prophet, evangelist pastor and teacher . It seems to be a confirmation for this truth; that this movement has derived its origins as prescribed by the Lord.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
The History
Really don’t want to get bogged down in a lengthy history, so going to make this brief. For decades, the Lord has been warning America of our sin. Our annihilation of the unborn and turning away from His holy statutes. We are loosing His protective covering for us Deut. 28. Basically, we as a country were telling the Lord-we do not want You, Your ways- Your truths. The Lord cannot deny Himself, He will not force a relationship with those who turn away from His Laws. He has to judge righteously, He cannot allow the unjust to violate the innocent.
Acts 17:31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”
2 Timothy 2:13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
Many in the ‘Christian Community’ felt there was going to be a serious turning point (judgment) in the US this September-October-2015. The warning went out, by those who truly have a great concern and love for America. One such prophetic warning was sent out by Jonathan Cahn, whom many of us believe has a great passion for the well being of America. Prophet Cahn shared the voice of what many Christians in the US were saying-what they were hearing from the Lord…
My love has been shown to this country, I have blessed you above all others. You were a light to those who were less fortunate, you brought justice to those who persecuted the helpless. You were a voice and a witness for My truth.
You were warned when you started to turn away from Me, from My laws, so many gave a deaf ear. The cries of the innocent, those you have murdered have reached My throne room Rev. 18:24, Rev. 6:10. You say no one can touch me as for I sit as queen, in one hour she is made desolate Rev. 18:4-17.
What Happened
Never in recent history have we had a political governing party been ‘bound’ and united to follow Biblical truths as we did in 2016-in the GOP.
While their sincerity of their statements can be questioned, their response to the voice of the American people cannot be any clearer. So many in America have prayed, Lord…what can we do-we see the sinful ways and laws being mandated. All we can do is pray-Lord hear our voice, our prayers!
Political leaders-kings-can point the way to repentance, but for a country to truly turn to the Lord, it takes ‘ we, the people’.
vs. 1 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD
When the Lord unites with a nation incredible things happen…
Vs. 2-3. When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple. 3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the LORD above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying, “He is good; his love endures forever.”
One Russian prophetess in my opinion explained it best. When she questioned the Lord – Jesus, You have told me to warn the people and I have done so. Yet You have delayed Your judgment. Have I done wrong, have I not heard correctly, am I in error?
You could since the response by the Lord was compassionate, it is a sincere question.
As the Lord delayed judgment for Nineveh when the prophet Jonah preached to them Jon. 3, Jon. 4 the Lord explains in 2 Peter 3:9 that He desires all to come to repentance and none perish.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance
He is has given us a ‘moment’ of delay for us. He explained to her, He desires all to be saved and come to the know of truth 1 Tim. 2:4.
He has heard not only her prayers, the prayers of His children for their families. If He started judgment now, would we want those we love to be part of His judgment Zeph. 1:14-15, or partakers in eternal life, His family? He has given us ‘a moment’, for He is merciful
Lamentations 3:22-23 It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
How long is a moment with the Lord? A thousand years is described as a day in the Lords eyes 2 Pet. 3:8,a moment will be best understood when
-When we seek Him with all our heart Jer. 29:13.
-When we see those true followers of Christ confirm our prayers Amos 3:7.
A United Call
What many are receiving from the Lord is this-we have been given an opportunity to finalize our purpose for the church…His Last Great Call. To be a light to the world-to pray…to gather as many love ones, friends and even enemies into the heavenly home, the Kingdom of God Matt. 6:33 See first 4 articles on the Kingdom of God
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an mountain cannot be hid.
This window of heavenly light may not last long, for we do not know the day or hour Matt. 24:36 . The Lord has made it clear however, we cannot waist time-we have to be diligent in seeking His call, to be united in His truth
Ephesians 4:13 Until all the church comes to a oneness (by the Spirit), acting on a unity of faith and becoming like minded in the knowledge of Christ, a completed church, obtaining the to the full glory of Christ (literal interpretation).
The Trump Card
Kinda glad we first took a detour and mentioned the Lords purpose. When you listen to the prophetic words given below, you will notice it is not about the candidate, but the completed purpose for the united radiant church.
Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
To complete the Lords task however, it makes complete sense that the church will need an opening of the religious freedoms that we have been losing for decades (chipping away at-see link ). A candidate that is not bound to prior obligations in the political arena. Also, we will need business opportunities that will distribute wealth according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The true mustard seed church will promote the gospel in His final great call to the world. There will be a time when His church will indeed sprout to it’s great completion, uniting with Christ. Mk. 4:30-32, Matt. 5:14. Praise God!
Well, you now know where this is going. I have not heard preachers that are part of this movement say God is making you vote for Trump. What most are asking the church to do…is seek the face of God and hear from Him. Listen to the prophets and see if they are hearing from God Amos 3:7. Get close enough to the heart beat of the Lord, so we can not only hear who to vote for….but more importantly…hear our purpose for the church-to brings the Lords glory down from heaven so as many as possible can see the need for our savior Jesus Christ Matt. 5:10, 2 Cor. 4:4.
Can the Lord Use an Unusual Candidate
In the Old Testament, the Persian king Cyrus was used by the Lord to build a temple in Jerusalem for the Israelites 2 Chr 36:22-23. He was given the honor of Gods anointed, without ‘officially’ being a Jewish convert Is. 45:1. There is no implication to compare any US candidate to Cyrus or call Him ‘The Lords Anointed’ but just to suggest that the Lord can use anyone for His purpose, even the Pharaoh of Egypt Rm. 9:17. As mentioned through out the Word , the leader of a people can have a ‘divine importance’, and thus we are to earnestly pray for them-to support whom the Lord desires as an authority over us. 1 Tim. 2:1-2, Prov. 29:2, Rm. 13:1.
