The Lord is Calling the Church ‘Off’ the Fence
For over a year now, we have listened to prophecies about this coming election See ft. 1 bottom. I personally have not witnessed more extraordinary revelation come to fruition in my lifetime. The Lord is exposing corruption that has been lurking in government for generations-and now we are witnessing our heads of state being accused (with evidence) of gross misconduct. As one preacher stated in an illustration given by the Lord, Trump is the ‘foot in the door’ but the church with the Holy Spirit blows the door wide open. I cannot think of a better way to look at all the activity taking place.
If the shaking of our government is considered part of the ‘first phase’ by the Lord, what should follow? What is universally expressed by those whom I believe are truly hearing from the Lord is- the move by the Spirit we are witnessing -is not about Trump nor will never be about Trump. The message is ‘Bringing the Holy Spirit back to My church’-as a witness to the people of this country. It is about building ‘My holy church’
The Church is Established as Stated in the Word
The church will be established as stated in the Word. The radiant church will start small, a mustard seed and grow into the most relevant glorious gathering of believers the world has ever seen…incredibly, it will display more power than the early church Eph. 5:27, Mk. 4:8, 1 Cor. 4:20. Mark 4:30-32 “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade.”
You can truly sense the move of the Holy Spirit stirring the hearts of believers! One the surface we see corruption in the government, a political fight more intense that anyone could have imagined…but in prayer we are hearing-I am opening the door for truth to reign-for the Spirit of God to shake His believers into a divine unity, more joyous that our lives have ever experienced. It’s hard to stay seated and write what the Lord is doing in the hearts of believers 🙂 .
Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
For decades so many Christians have mentioned the ‘final great call’ will be those from -the streets- the nobodies- the ex drug addicts! At Bible college, we talked a lot of theology, but seldom resolved anything. At the mission, those with severe addictions ‘had’ to pray and get a hold of the Lord-or they died. They had to have a miracle to survive. I learned a valuable lesson. Just like the Lords first coming, it was not those who were theologians that were hearing from the Lord-but the ones who truly sought the face of God-who knew they needed Him, See Listen with Our heart.
Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with
‘ALL’ your heart.
When Jesus came to us, He was not against those well learned in the Word. He just knew it was the ones who needed Him that were humbled enough to truly receive Him.
Psalm 10:17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:
Psalm 34:18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Today, the scenario has not changed. God is calling those who are genuinely listening to His Spirit. Fearing the Lord-seeking His will at every turn is still the directive to hear from God, this has never changed.
Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Personal Note: I need to be honest about this post, for I was reluctant to put this message out ‘again’. For years, the Lord has been calling out to His church…to come together-be united in Holiness, purpose, AND CALLING. In other words, to be united not only in Name, but IN SPIRIT –and His ‘current directives’ for the church. Simply, He desires His church to ‘be alive’ in Him.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same shall bring forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
I was dragging my feet, thinking-Lord…are they not tired of hearing this? For two mornings He was trying to show me, to have me understand the glory that awaits us-His bride-the body of believes. Everything the Christian has longed for-comes through this glorious awakening of the Church.
The whispers you have heard- how He wants to use you-the miracles that await those that seek Him will all their hearts Acts 2:14-19.
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Most importantly, the power of His presence, a glory inflamed with unlimited love and righteousness penetrating the darkness of this world-giving light to our loved ones. Giving them the ability to see in order to receive Him.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
He sooo desires I could see and understand more-and what He has shown-I wish I could explain with greater accuracy, for what is written falls short of His heavenly words. The good new is-His Majesty will be shown not through pen but through His radiance on display through you-His living church. Praise God!
Philippians 2:15 Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky
Coming Off The Fence
Fences divide, cause separation-and provide a very uncomfortable resting place. They were never meant for long term residency. Sitting on them also keeps us from entering into the Lords narrow road, which by the way-also has a narrow gate.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate… But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
There is no earthly baggage that can fit through His heavenly gate-only you, the cloths ‘on your back’, the hurts and sorrows within…and the Lord. As we surrender our passageway and enter His, His love and guidance sets us on a pathway of heavenly life that can only be experience on His road. The road is narrow because those traveling it are few, but His blessing abound. See Our Road with God, Living Water.
John 10:10 I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it abundantly.
Hearing Test
To come off the fence, we have to hear from the Lord in order to see where His journey takes us. The Spirit-as our teacher is constantly making the difficult things in life easy to understand-so we can continue on our road with God.
John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Let’s take a simple hearing test. We need to remember, taking a test from Scripture-our heavenly Doctor-can be a little unsettling, but always sets us in the right direction. This test is not only for an individual Christian, but for the church as a whole.
1) When you pray individually with the Lord, are there those in the congregation that receive similar instructions by the Holy Spirit? In other words, is the Holy Spirit moving in your congregation and teaching-instructing in a unified manner? ‘Wow, you got that from the Holy Spirit in prayer today, He showed me that same thing 2 nights ago!’. Is this a common occurrence?
2) Can you recognize the difference between using ‘the mind’ to find truth (or give a sermon-teaching) and the Spirits revelation from the Word-given at the right moment? Mans response could be correct, but the Spirits response will ‘glow’ with the truth from the Lord and His Word. ‘How did the preacher know to stop his sermon and talk on this topic? I have been sooo looking for answers in this area’ Acts 2:14-17, Rm. 8:14.
3) When different interpretations are discussed about a scripture or theology, do believers go to the Holy Spirit and-in most instances- have this resolved by Him? Is this also true with disagreements in the church? The Holy Spirit is our Divine Teacher and does not teach opposing truths Jn. 15:26. See Why We Disagree.
4) Are the ‘updates’ from the Holy Spirit for our current role in today’s church confirmed by multiple believers in your local body. The Lord is our loving Father, He wants us to be on the right course-the correct passage way. This includes His ‘UNIFIED’ understanding of prophecy, direction, purpose for His children. Are we in sink on important teachings like the timing of the rapture, purpose for the church, unity of believers in the last days, how to bring in the Kingdom of God. His updates keep us on course…if we do not hear them-we get off His road. The Holy Spirit will clarify all these vital teachings if we are truly hearing from Him ‘All Truth’ Jn. 14:26.
Honest Answer
How did we do in the above test? It can be said, it’s not wrong to be wrong (in most cases)-it’s wrong to stay wrong and not be corrected Prov. 1:7.
All of us have come short of receiving truth as early as the Father wanted. What is wrong however-is to stay on the fence when the Lord is calling His army to join together when His call to arms is sent out. If you can say-the Holy Spirit is moving in my life, in the congregation-revealing unified truths that are received because we are walking in the Spirit-His Great Call will indeed be heard by you and those seeking His truth. If however, the above test showed we are not hearing from the Spirit as needed, then what happened when Jesus came the first time will more than likely have the same results with us. All but a few understood His great purpose for His arrival-while He was physically with us on this earth Jn. 6:67. For more scripture please See The Way.
His people did not receive Him for several reasons, but for most-it is because they were sleeping-idle- on the fence- and not actively walking on His narrow road, their journey with the Lord.
His calling is sooo not about condemnation-at least for those who desire His truth…for He is calling out-even to His church that is sleeping Matt. 25:5-6. See City on a Hill. Our call is about waking up our spirit and experiencing Gods glory in one another.
John 17:20-22 “My prayer is not for them alone. 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you…
22 I have given them the glory that you gave me,
This will be His greatest move of the Spirit in the history of mankind Acts 2: 1-47, Rev. 12:7-11. At times-just want to shout-this will be sooo cool!-the most beautiful experience in my life anyway-to see Gods glory in you, through you coming out of you! Kinda of like the book ‘Gods purpose for Dummies’ lol. It has one sentence… Have His glory shine through you 🙂 See Fellowship or Friendship.
His Holy Army
I hope we all understand what is at stake. If we don’t hear from the Lord-His last great calling-we will not only miss out on the unification of His church-the glorious church on the mountain
Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A city built on a mountain cannot be hidden.
we will also discard His protection for our family and loved ones as written in the Word. See Day of the Lord Rapture, Rev. 3:10.
The real tragedy though would be missing out on the glory of God that totally defeats darkness. The is the tool satan uses in his attempt to send our family and friends to everlasting torment 2 Cor. 4:4. The Good News however is we are not of darkness but of light
1 Thessalonians 5:5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
Please be in prayer about 1) Surrendering the things of this world that might hinder traveling on His narrow road. 2) Asking-believing the Lord will enlighten our hearts to understand His purpose and will Eph. 1:16-20.
