Anything We Can Do, God can do Better, Much Better

God does not ‘need us’ to make Him complete,  because He is absolute-Divine, Infinite in every way 🙂     See Understanding God 

The Lord does however delight in us-because when we become part of His family-

We share His glory, His divine nature.  We are made, in His image

Genesis 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female He created them.

This means, when we enter into the Presence of the Lord-everyone is inspired by one another-Including the Lord. 

Kinda like-

We don’t have to be sad, lonely, or feeling incomplete to enjoy the presence of our family, children, the people we are close to.

When we have dessert, we usually are not hungry…we just ‘delight’ from it 🙂

God does not ‘need’ us, but He does-‘Delight’ in Us.  

In fact, the Lord will not only delights in us…but

Zephaniah 3:17   The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will delight over thee with joy; He will rest you in His love, He will rejoice over thee with singing.

Sometimes it is worth looking at the original Hebrew words…to get the most out of what the Lord is saying.   God ‘delighting’ in us…does not even come close to what will happen when we have Divine Fellowship with God.  Here is the above verse explained from the original Hebrew-

–He will save, He will delight over thee.   The Hebrew word for delight is sîys, which means He will be exceedingly glad, extremely cheerful with us,  rejoice with us.

-with joy (joyśimḥâ-Hebrew).  It means with pleasure, delight…festive.  We will have more of a ‘good time’ with the Lord, than anything we have experienced on earth.

-He will rejoice over thee with singing.

Rejoice in Hebrew is gûwl, translated –so happy that one moves, he ‘spins’ around.

with singing (rinnâ in Hebrew).  This means shouting with joy.

Summary, The Lord will be so happy ‘with us’, that when we enter His prescience, there will be times when He ‘gets up from His throne’ and sings with joy and has Happy Feet, literally dances with joy over us…with us.     Love it, go figure 🙂     See Psalm 147:11 

Ps. 147:11 But the Lord takes pleasure (delights) in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.

In fact, divine joy can always increase in its radiance, there is ‘no end’ to it.   That is what Gods’ love does best-bring to light what we have been given (inherited) in God 🙂    See Fellowship or Friendship

The most important part of our lives is when we share the most important things in our lives…and that would be-each other, with the Lord in our midst.

Matthew 18:20  For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
