As Hurricane Irma approaches Florida and the east coast, wanted to get a quick post out to pray against this storm.
As usual, it is worth the extra few minutes to lay a Biblical foundation to stand united in prayer.
The Original Plan For Mankind
The original plan from the Lord was to have man govern the world under His supervision-while the Lord ruled the heavens.
Psalm 115:16 The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind.
Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
The Lord is not a micro manager-it gives Him joy to have man be in unison with the Father-managing the world for the Glory of God.
John 13:31-32 Jesus said, “The Son of Man is now glorified, and because of him God is glorified. 32 If God is glorified because of the Son of Man, God will glorify the Son of Man because of himself, and he will glorify the Son of Man at once.”
As most of you know, when Adam and Eve sinned, man lost His fellowship with God and it had to be restored by a coming savior. Divine restoration from sin has to be done by Jehovah God-and not by man. See Understanding God. The Lord replaced their fig leaves with animal skin, representing a coming savior who would shed His blood for us-Jesus who knew no sin would take our sins for us. Genesis 3:21 The LORD God made clothes from animal skins for the man and his wife and dressed them.
2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
When the Lord Jesus became man, He was our divine ambassador before the Father-representing a sinless man before God. Heb. 1-2.
Jesus re-established the believers authority and through Christ, we again have rule or dominion of this world.
Ephesians 1:19-23 You will also know the unlimited greatness of his power as it works with might and strength for us, the believers.
20 He worked with that same power in Christ when he brought him back to life and gave him the highest position in heaven. 21 He is far above all rulers, authorities, powers, lords, and all other names that can be named, not only in this present world but also in the world to come. 22 God has put everything under the control of Christ. He has made Christ the head of everything for the good of the church. 23 The church is Christ’s body and completes him as he fills everything in every way.
Here the scripture is saying that Jesus is now the supreme head overall the powers of this world, now and forevermore. Verse 19 teaches the authority also is for us, the believers -co heirs with Christ Rm. 8:17. Amazingly, we are given a position with Christ.
Luke 10:19 I have given you the authority to trample snakes and scorpions and to destroy the enemy’s power.
Ephesians 1:3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Through Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer.
Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
The restoration of authority and power brings back our right to have control over the powers of darkness in this world.
What we need to understand however, this authority is a declaration and not an automatic possession of power over satan-who is still the god of this world and the air. Please see 1st 4 articles Kingdom of God.
2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Eph. 2:2.
In other words, the Lord is still waiting for the church to awake from it’s sleep and finish her work- to restore the Kingdom of God back to earth Heb. 10:13.
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Rev. 12: 7-11.
One of the easiest ways to understand how His heavenly system works on earth-is to compare this to the Lords declaration-covenant for Israel. The Lord gave the lands from the region of Canaan and the surrounding area to Abraham and Israel Gen. 15:18-21.
Once the Lord spoke this, Israel received the ‘title or deed’ but still had to fight to receive their inheritance. They fought their enemies with weapons made by man.
Once the Lord restored the believers authority over the devil at His Resurrection-we receive the right (title and deed) to take back the earth for the Lord. Like Israel, we have to fight for our Kingdom to be manifested on earth, as mentioned above in Matt. 11:12. They fought their battles with weapons made by man, we fight our battle with the Lords weapon, speaking the Lords authority over the works of the devil.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Prov. 18:21.
Speaking in the authority of Christ, we rebuke and cast down strongholds created by evil and the devil. The link for the kingdom of God gives more detailed verses for on how to accomplish our fight for Kingdom of God.
Applying the Kingdom of God Message to Hurricane Irma
The Lord Rebukes the Wind on the Sea-First
Then He Commands the Laws of Nature–Second
Mark 4:35-41 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
Remember , ‘All’ Authority Has been given to Jesus
Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Eph. 1:19-23
Notice, He rebuked the wind. When someone gives a rebuke-corrects, he does this to ‘someone’. People would think we have ‘lost it’ if we corrected or rebuked a wall-door or wind. In other words-there was a ‘personality’ behind the storm-someone with power trying to destroy the plan of God.
Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
Satan has power. It is illegitimate and is subject to the believers authority in Christ (above verses)-and to angels authority in Christ Jude 1:9. He and his army will one day be utterly destroyed-and when the church rises from it’s sleep we will join with the Lords angels to bring His kingdom down-as described in Rev. 12:7-11. Again see first 4 articles in Kingdom of God .
Satan currently is a fugitive on the loose and is able to demonstrate his power in numerous ways, including perverting the laws of nature.
Revelation 13:13 And it (satan and the beast-antichrist) performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people.
Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
2 Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. he will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie. Ex. 7:11-12
Satan wants to destroy what the Lord has established. The Lord came to give life, satan wants to destroy life
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
As the above scriptures teach, satan can distort the laws of nature and can at times cause physical sickness in our body Job 2:4-7, Matt. 12:22-28, Lk. 8:2, Lk. 13:16, 2 Cor. 12:7, Matt. 10:1.
Luke 13:16 Then should not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen long years, be set free on the Sabbath day from what bound her?”
This is why Jesus-rebuked the storm. As with physical healing, the Lord will give discernment if there is any demonic influence (at times there may not be). If so however, we rebuke the devil, cast it out of the body ‘first’, and then speak restoration to the natural laws of health to the body ‘second’ (in most instances-the Lord can direct us at times differently).
Jesus rebuked the devil in the storm first, and then spoke to the natural laws of nature second–be still. Mark 4:39.
The Lord Does Not Delight in Disaster
Ezekiel 33:11 Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’
For those who think the Lord delights in disaster-I have a question for you. Would the Lord desire a hurricane with winds over 100 mph winds ripping through the Garden of Eden. Of course not. As Jesus rebuked the wind on the Sea of Galilee, He would rebuke the wind in Hurricane Irma. Yes, the Lord will judge the world when they turn completely against Him, through His wrath in the bowl and trumpet judgments (when His church is taken at the rapture). At times the Lord also uses calamities to bring His people back to His love-but let’s not give this hurricane an excuse to ravage our land because we wrongly think the Lord delights in something from the devil. See Day of the Lord Rapture, Rev. 3:10.
Do we have an absolute guarantee that we can turn hurricane Irma? I believe if His Spirit reveals this to us, we can have a heavenly confidence that this will indeed take place. We have to realize however, we are in a real battle. Until the Lord returns, we will struggle with the powers of evil 2 Cor. 12:7, James 1:2-4. We have a choice, fight the good fight ‘of faith’ 1 Tim. 6:12, or have assured failure and do nothing-and never see the power of God move in our lives.
John 14:14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
We are to rebuke the storm and then command the laws of nature to be still.
Taking Our Authority in Christ
The first step is to become a child of God-by faith in Christ. If you have taken the time to read this article-and do not know the Lord-now is the time to get real with Christ and secure you eternal destiny-Praise God! See How to know the One True God.
As a believer it is mind boggling to know we have been given the same blessings and authority in Christ Eph. 1:3, 2:6.
Use our authority in Christ to
-First Rebuke the spirit in the storm, and command it in the name of Jesus to leave the chaos and stop it’s destructive path.
-Second To command in Jesus name that the wind be still and return to the calm laws of nature.
Have Christians Unite and Pray-Fast
When I was praying about hurricane Irma, the Lord showed me He has been listening to those already praying. He was gently correcting me…Bill-I have been listening-but where have you been. Yes, we need to have already been united in prayer for this-when the threat first came out.
Evangelist John Ramirez has it sooo right when he explains how Christians should form a circle for a city, state and country and claim protection over our land. See link.
The Lord was wanting His children to command His angels to guard over our coastline-for me this would be Florida-or our east coast-however we feel led. The most effective method is just like a real army-each district and state take part in a war with the hurricane-attacking in on all fronts. United, having angels stand guard over our territory-rebuking the devil in the storm-and commanding the winds to die down. Again, like Jesus, we rebuked the storm and commanded the laws of nature to act according to laws of God, not laws of disaster.
Mark 11:23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.
Right now, call and have all the Christians you know become active-I like to (as well as others like Evangelist Ramirez) pray for a circle of protection over our homes-states and country-where the devil and the storms cannot enter.
Matt. 18-20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I in the mist (middle of their prayers).”
The more Christians and angels we unite-the greater the outcome. Call right now-set up prayer chains and give the the above scriptural principles to fight for the well being of your love ones and your land.
Remember
-activate all your Christian bretheren
-activate the angels-they are waiting and willing-on standby for us
Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
–rebuke the devil in the storm
-speak to the natural laws and command Peace be still!
Let’s accomplish what Jesus desires for us-to be one and complete the works of God
John 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
John 14:12 Truly, truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Wanted to post an update 9-9-17
Hey guys, the Lord woke me up a few minutes ago to share this again. What He wanted me to emphasize is we are TO FIGHT IRMA! Can’t say this any simpler. Those who know we have authority in Christ, have we stood around our property and spoke-in faith-
Ps. 91 ‘no disaster will come near your tent-dwelling vs. 10.
Matthew 18:18-20 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst (middle) of them.
This verse is saying….whenever we do ‘our work’ on earth….the Lord will follow through with ‘His ‘Work’ in heaven. We have to do ‘our work’ beloved!
Jesus will be ‘in the mist-middle. We are to go to our properties-form a circle of protection around the land (Jesus will be in the middle vs. 20)-include others in this circle-our city and state-as the scripture in the above article states….rebuke! the storm and command the laws of nature to be still.
While the storm tries to pass over-bunker down in prayer! continually protection over your love ones and our land…fight! Just have to be soooo honest, watching TV to be entertained while there is literally a real war going on outside in not fighting. We have to fight for our loved ones. For those of you who know of your authority in Christ-don’t be surprised or stopped by those in church who don’t -who are not fighting in the spirit….take the lead and fight through this storm-be the example. God bless you, love you and fight-pray! for this state (others states as it passes) your loved ones and our land… Praise God always

Final Update 9/16/17
Just wanted to finish the final update on Hurricane Irma. About a week ago, meteorologist were predicting Irma to be the most intense hurricane in the history of the Atlantic ocean…with a direct hit on the Florida coast. Living in the middle of Florida…in something far short of a fortified fortress-let’s just say-like many others on the east coast, we were concerned.
This deadly storm-if it followed natural laws would have devastated families, communities and entire states. How could families help each other…if they had their homes demolished also?
The prayers of the saints greatly hindered the forces of darkness. Yes, we are in a battle, and those who suffered loss we need to support in all areas-prayer, labor and finances-but the devastation that was intended by the devil the Lord spared us the brunt of disaster that was headed our way.
What the Lord wanted me to write in the closing of this chapter is to remember critical spiritual lessons that have to be applied to our lives-to our future and the future of our children-and the Lords inheritance.
Unity of the Believers in the Lord
We are to unify as one kingdom, unite with the angels and bring down the Kingdom of God Rev. 12:7-11. As explained in the scriptures and references above, we form a spiritual unity and fight the devil. Pastors Ramirez interview is worth reviewing again Link. Our goal is spelled out by Jesus, divide and break apart satans kingdom and unify the Lords true believers-one church united by His Spirit.
Matthew 12:25-26 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
Matthew 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.
Matthew 5:14 “You are light for the world. A city (singular) cannot be hidden when it is located on a hill.
Always Remember how the Lord Covered Us with His Blessing
1 Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”
We experienced the breaking apart of this massive storm. It could have devastated our families, homes and business-but through the Lords grace and prayer we were protected from what the devil intended. We should ask the Lord to help us always remember how His hand covered us, being thankful the He saved the state from a pending disaster.
Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
His Spiritual Methods Work
From this day forward, we need to realize that His spiritual guidelines work and apply them with greater skill in the future. Like any army, we grow in the Spirit and increase in knowledge and power in the Lord…until satan is defeated and cast down-above links. One holy church, united in the power of the living God.
Note: The Lord is wanting to convey to the church that He is not the author of confusion…the devil is.
1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
He is showing that His answers to important questions-including current events are ‘on the table’ , all we have to do is open our eyes and reach out and take them, receive His truth. Sooo much of the church is trying to impress others, have the ‘best sermon’ ‘latest revelation’ ‘coolest church’. All we really have to do is humble ourselves and follow the truth given to us. His truth is ‘on the table’ and has sent it to us…let’s recognize the pastors, prophets and teachers who are broken in the spirit-seeking after the true Word from God.
1 Peter 5:5 Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

With this victory, satan has had a set back, his camp has been weakened. Any general knows ‘we move forward’ because the enemy is in retreat. The church is to move forward now in diligent prayer and unity. ‘The answers are on the table’, all we have to do is reach out and take them.
