Psalms 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
I Cor. 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;
Recently that Lord was reminding of something, how His truth is simplified by the Holy Spirit so we can understand His ways and know how to walk in them. If there is confusion about a particular belief (Biblical or personal), a misunderstanding on how to live our lives-or just trying to find His will, the Holy Spirit will simplify the seemingly endless possibilities and make the complicated easy to understand and follow.
Satan is the author of confusion, not the Lord
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
I Cor. 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Logically then, for Satan to disguise the Fathers teaching in His Word, many times the most complicated Biblical explanations will be a technique from devil to keep us from understanding Gods important truths. While Satan will indeed attack the foundational gospel message about salvation for an individual, I believe his most intense attacks are the ones to keep believers pacified so they will not engage and pursue his defeat. His main purpose is to maintain his illegitimate empire-once he loses this, his fate is doomed. Satan also knows believers have the power (and are given the responsibility) to dethrone him-thus his priority is duping the church so they will be so asleep-they will never discover their true purpose-bringing in the kingdom of God and dethroning the devils evil illegitimate empire (see 1st 4 articles on Kingdom of God-site man, Matt. 25:1-13).
For the most part, there are 3 areas Satan has to keep hidden in order for him to maintain his ruling kingdom (discussed below). These false theologies have been ‘decisive’ in keeping the church in check. Once they are discovered by the entire church we will understand our purpose and realize the Lord has given believers the power and authority to accomplish the greatest event since the resurrection of Christ-having the Lords kingdom reign on earth (Rev. 12:1-11, 1st 4 articles, Kingdom of God-site map). The goal of Satan then is to hide these truths-and one of the most successful techniques to accomplish this within the church is to make a teaching so complicated it ‘scrambles’ the divine simplicity found in Gods Word. Applying endless scriptures that do not directly explain a teaching takes us away from the relevant scriptures that do.
As with the Pharisees in Christ time, Satan will mix unrelated Bible scripture, church tradition and concepts of the ‘prestigious leadership’ to ‘overload’ our natural process of hearing from the Holy Spirit by our spirit within us. Mk 7:13, Matt 15:6-9, Romans 8:14. The Holy Spirit however, leads us to all truth
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,
Thus, the Holy Spirit will lead us to the scriptures that actually pertain to the truth we are seeking. This ‘filtering process’ almost always is so simplified-we usually say-Lord how could I have been so blinded not to have noticed these few scriptures that direct my steps toward this teaching or prophecy.
Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
We must remember Satan is a liar set out to confuse us. He cannot convince Christians Gods Word is false, so the only recourse is to confuse us by using scripture incorrectly. Logically then, if a explanation about a prophecy, teaching or ‘truth’ is so confusing we cannot easily understand it, this teaching is more than likely in error-to throw us off track from the Lords real truth. The Word shows us how Eve was deceived by ‘part truth’ and ‘part lie’. Gen. 3
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Let’s look at three examples where Satan has used complex teachings to hide the Lords obvious truths. These principles from the Lord that have been dormant in the church have allowed Satan to maintain his illegitimate evil empire for two millenniums.
Please note: I was deceived in all three areas. Each and every time when the Lord corrected me, He spoke with a few scriptures. When these ‘pieces to the puzzle fit together’ the whole Word then began to easily come together. If you currently agree with these teachings that this articles is saying to be false-please prayerfully consider how they could be a ploy from Satan to throw the church into chaos before the return of Christ.
‘The Simplicity of Divine Truth’
1) THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
For nearly two thousand years Satan has deactivated the churches power by institutionalizing the church. When the Roman leader Constantine seemingly converted to Christianity in the early 4th century and legalized Christianity-the early church persecution stopped but so did the rule by the Holy Spirit. Gods power and leading was replaced by a state organized church. Like many of the churches today, I was deceived by thinking this demonstration of power, gifts and anointing stopped in the early church-I was wrong. Jesus says do not continue your ministry without this power and presence from heaven
Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
Luke 24:29 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. (Acts 2:33)
This anointing demonstrated by the Gifts of the Spirit will continue until we meet Him in heaven
I Cor. 13:8-13 but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away…(then we will be) face to face (with Him). (see all of Chap. 13-along with 1 Cor. 12-14)
It was so simple and I missed it! All I needed to understand was the Bible says this manifestation from the Lord is for all believers as described in 1 Cor. 12-14. All the gifts of the Spirit will cease when we are complete in Him-or face to face with Him in heaven (1 Cor.13). If the church does not apply this heavenly provision from the Lord, we will be ‘crippled’ and have to rely more in our own strength and understanding. The Lord says we need this-and we do! Please see for more scriptural support. (see-Baptism of the Holy Spirit. site map)
2) DENOMINATIONS AND PERSONAL MINISTRIES
The Lords church should not be divided.
Mark 3:24-26 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. [25] And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. [26] And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Satan knows this better that the church does…that is why he desires to promote independent ministries with the intention of never being united within the community or nation to bring in the Kingdom of God. Jesus says once we unite the end for the kingdoms of this world (and Satan) ends
Matt. 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
This does not mean there should not be any local ministries-it means local ministries should be united to defeat Satan with the purpose bringing in the Kingdom of God. Until we surrender our personal ministries or denominational goals, we cannot have hearts like children and understand the Lord has a greater calling
Mark 10:15 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
This verse mentions the message of the kingdom of God will not be understood unless we are childlike and lay down ‘our empire’ or ministry. We will then be able to understand the simplicity of the purpose for the church-to dethrone Satan and ‘forcefully bring down the kingdom of God (see 1st 4 articles-Kingdom of God-site map)
Matt. 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.
Satan has tricked us by thinking so many theologies could never unify because we cannot agree on Biblical doctrines…they are too diversified (another way to make teaching complicated and confusing). In reality, if we come together in the Holy Spirit-with a humble heart that fears His name-He will begin to teach us His truths that we need to understand. He will take us by the hand and guide us to ‘ALL TRUTH’ John 14:26 the Holy Ghost… he shall teach you ALL THINGS. Prov. 1:7).
For the churches that are not Spirit led-this indeed is correct…. they will not unite except to advance the will of Satan. The churches that are truly seeking after His Spirit-in the end times will advance the kingdom of God in unity-will touch the heavens in His glory and indeed become radiant through Him-one mustard seed becoming one giant tree for all to gather (Ephesians 5:27, Matt. 5:14 Mark 4:1-34) See ‘The Way’
3) THE PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE
(This view holds that the church will be taken in a instant before the 7 year tribulation begins. For years I held this view, even taught it-but in my mind I never could make the scriptures ‘fit’. The only alternative I had was to go along with a complicated process of explaining a ‘teaching’ that is not clearly taught in the Word. Friends, are you starting to understand how Satan uses confusion to stop us from seeing the obvious simple truth! This particular wrong theology will jeopardize the lives of not thousands-but millions of the Lords sleeping saints and non Christians alike! See Day of the Lord Rapture, Rev. 3:10) Is it not time to seriously pray that we receive true understanding about being ready and understanding the devils schemes (2 Cor. 2:11, Ephesians 6:11)
2 Cor. 2:11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.
Recently I read multiple articles by someone who holds the pre-tribulation rapture view. While the rapture is indeed scriptural (1 Cor. 15:53), having the believers think they are leaving before their appointed time stops the true purpose of the church and will send them in a panic when they enter tribulations from men. This teaching will also cause millions of believers to forsake true protection from the Lord in the end times because they believe…. we do not have to prepare for trials and tribulations…we will be ‘gone’. (Rev. 3:10, Jeremiah 50:16, Jeremiah 50:28, Jeremiah. 51:8)
This particular teacher spent countless pages explaining why pre-tribulation rapture was correct, without going to the specific scriptures that actually gives us the Biblical time frame for the rapture (Matt. 24:1-36-not the day or hour but season). For example, one can write a book on how God loves us-thus we will never be persecuted. When we give scriptures on how our walk can indeed include persecution as Christ was persecuted-their argument will start crumble (John 15:20, Phil. 3:10). Their only recourse at this point is to ‘scramble’ ideas-or to make the topic so confusing as to why scriptures don’t really mean what they seem to be teaching. The Father gives us scriptures to guide us-sometimes all we have to do is look and listen with our heart. (Psalms 119:105 See-Listen With Our Heart, Why We Disagree)
When this author received a handful of scriptures that pertain to the timing of the rapture and the placement of the church in the end times-I received countless of scriptures and studies on the ‘Character’ of God-without a single discussion (verse) on when the Lord comes back to receive His bride. A new Christian could think-because of all this teaching they must have superior understanding. In reality, Satan many times uses a bombardment of unrelated teaching so we do not take the time to hear from the Lord. The Lord will simplify the process and give the ‘Correct’ scriptures used properly.
Psalms 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
I Cor. 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise;
In respect to her teaching, I did pray and searched for His truth…not mine. He indeed answered by fitting the scriptures easily into and placement of the church that the Lord ‘simply’ explained-years ago. Sadly, I knew in my heart her response to the Lord would not be mutual, tragically-she does not realize being closed hearted is supporting a teaching by Satan that puts millions of in harms way-out of the protection from the Lord (see Rev. 3:10-Prophecy).
Simplicity-The Lords Way of Explaining His Greatest Truths
In Bible college, some teachers and students would ‘make fun’ of studying the gospels, thinking the greatest truths and theologies were in the epistles of Paul or Peter. I did not know a lot of the Word at that time, but something in my spirit said…they are seriously wrong about this. Indeed they were. Jesus says
John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
This scripture is explaining to us abiding in Him brings life. Life comes from the throne room in heaven (Matt. 11:12, Matt. 6:10, Rev. 21-22). Therefore, the greatest truths originate in heaven, and those who are the purest ‘IN HIM’ receive the greatest truths, not those who are the smartest in theology.
Ps. 18:26 To the pure Thou will shew Thy Self Pure
In fact, Jesus says for those who know the Bible but do not allow the light to come in and guide their heart…stay away from them…. they are blind guides following the blind. The pharisees knew the Word but did not follow it with their heart-thus the Holy Spirit could not teach them the ‘simplest’ of truths.
Matt. 15:13-14 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Friends, if you have a heart open to Gods truth…and you hear a teaching that is so complicated that you seem ‘lost’-realize that the teacher is probably also ‘lost’-as far as their teaching. Continue to go to the Holy Spirit, and watch Him work. He will take you by the hand-whisper truths in your heart and give you scriptures that so easily and ‘simply’ fit together with His entire Word..He is the truth so truth will never contradict His Word (John 14:26). While we will not completely understand until we are ‘face to face’ with Him in heaven, we will be ‘totally amazed’ how much we can understand if we unify under the Spirits teaching (1 Cor. 13:12).
Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Satan-you are being exposed…and your false truths are coming to light- Eph. 5:13
Praise His Holy Name!
