God- What is most important in Your Life

All are invited to consider this Divine question.  This includes those who agree with the Christian viewpoint and those who would like to understand more about the Biblical Jehovah God.   A special invitation however is given to the latter- and hopefully, you will not be disappointed.   🙂

What is most important to God?   Do you think we could ever really find out?

Maybe it’s not too hard to discover if we have a little help from above. 🙂

But first, we have to realize the implications if we do find out!

Let’s start with the obvious.   Whoever made our universe is pretty powerful and smart.  Natural laws are simply designed blueprints of a universe that we are just beginning to understand.  In other words, most of our scientific discovery is simply back-engineering predesigned SUPER-natural laws that already exist.  This includes all the ‘macro-big’ sciences of our universe and the ‘micro-small’ sciences of the micro-organisms. See Does God Reveal Himself to Man?

These blueprints have been supernaturally engineered to work together in a highly organized ‘eco system‘.  See  Wolves and the Eco System.

This ecosystem includes design, processing of the needed product materials, manufacturing the products, making sure they are correctly synchronized to work together,  maintaining the products, putting them in the correct environment to function properly, and as needed, replacing the products.   Oh, one other ‘little’ processing step.   God created some of these products with personalities, what psychologists call our mind, thoughts, and emotions- which the Bible calls our souls.   To the most honored of creation, God gave them something that is at the top of the design process…which quite simply is-Part of Himself.  Yes, the Bible mentions that God created man and woman- In His Own Image.

Genesis 1:27  So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Hint 1  The most important part of God’s life has something to do with…Giving man-and women-His nature we can share-part of Himself.

It’s not hard to realize that the most fulfilling part of our life is being a part of -sharing- the lives of people (and for some-‘critters’)  we love.   Ever seen a video of a poorly treated sheltered dog leaving for its ‘forever home’?  Ever long for a loved one we have lost?  We can ask ourselves, what in life has special value to us?  What are the things that bring us joy?  Who are those we can share this joy and happiness with?  The more we grow in healthy relationships, the more we see the sadness of people who have not discovered life was meant to be shared with those who are significant to us.    Their lives shared with us are simply the most important part of our lives ‘on this earth’-explained later.

If this ‘sharing of life’ is important to us, what would make us think it is not the most important purpose in God’s life?  The Bible calls this Fellowship with God 🙂 See link.

Understanding God’s Nature is the First Step to Discovering What is Important to God

The first step in understanding why God would want to make us ‘In His Image Gen. 1:27’ or  ‘share Himself’ with us is to understand His nature.   God is majestic, full of glory, and infinite in loving qualities.

Psalm 36:5-7
5  Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.
6  Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, LORD, preserve both people and animals.
7  How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Job 37:22  Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; God comes in awesome majesty.

Exodus 15:11  Who is like you— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?

In other words, coming into the presence of God as a child of God is the most glorious experience one could ever encounter.   His love is infinite, and because He is holy…His love is divinely pure.  This combo makes God the most attrative, positively addictive relationship we could ever have.

Let’s just get real 🙂

Having Jehovah God pour His infinite glorious love into our ‘finite-limited’ souls-and spirits-fills our hearts like no other experience.   This God-to-man (woman) relationship is actually an infinite Being filling our hearts as a finite creation.  This magnificent experience will be eternal, unending and beyond anything we could ever dream of.    As King David says, My cup overflows Ps. 23:5

Ephesians 3:14-21

When I think of the wisdom and scope of His plan, I fall down on my knees and pray to the Father of all the great family of God-some of them already in heaven, and some down here on earth-

that out of His glorious, unlimited resources He will give you the mighty inner strengthening of His Holy Spirit.

 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in Him.  May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love;

and may you be able to feel and understand, as all God’s children should, how long, how wide, how deep and how high His love really is, and to experience this love for yourselves, though it is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it.  And so at last you will be filled up with God Himself.

Now glory be to God who by His mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of-infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.  May He be given glory forever and ever through endless ages because of His master plan of salvation for the Church through Jesus Christ.

We realize our relationship with the true God of the universe cannot be outdone by anyone, anything at any time or any place.   His purity in this love-a Character that has zero faults-draws us into fellowship with the Lord’s Divine nature.   Our self-esteem, value as an individual, and excitement about life in the presence of Someone that is Divinely Perfect-is completed through His unending love flowing into our hearts.   Only by His Infinite Perfection imparted to us…will we finally achieve the ultimate experience in life-I am eternally complete in You oh Lord!

1 Corinthians 13:12   For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

We will come to a complete understanding that the Jehovah God the universe is giving us the maximum dose of  itself! 🙂

All this, just to say-If a good God could give us anything, He would give us what will truly make us the happiest, give us the greatest joy-and make it last ‘forever’.   This is exactly what the Lord does when we come into the family of God-He gives us the best-and that is Himself-as His gift to us.   The Lord truly is ‘a good’ God.   (please see the links at the end of the article)

Psalm 100:5 “For the LORD is good; His loving kindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.”

God giving us His love-the innermost desires of His heart-the very essence of ‘Who He Is’ -makes us ‘Divinely Special’.  There can be no greater gift given to us-and the Word shows us this heavenly gift is the most important part of God’s life.

The Bible teaches us that King David had serious faults and the Lord dealt with his sin justly.   Personal experience close to you.

As they say, are we beginning to see a ‘PATTERN HERE?”

Let’s keep going

Summary the most important part of Gods’ life  should be what is ‘most important’ part of our life.   That is

Having the most intimate relationship in the innermost part of Gods heart-His eternal Spirit.   Having the maximum expression of life itself touch us in the powerful way-His infinite expression of His glorious love for us.  There is nothing greater than this….in ‘ALL’  of life.

So let’s put this on the bulliten board forever and make in neon.

The most important part of Gods purpose in life is sharing the greatest part of life-His infinite love, glory, and ‘ALL’  His goodness with us, you and I.

Do I hear a Amen!

For those who are a little  like I was, who had several inaccuracies of the Christian faith before I discovered the ‘Real Jesus’-this ‘first priority in Gods’ life’  paints a completely different picture than my previous viewpoint-or bias.   The negatives I have about Jesus and the Christian faith were because I had difficulty understanding the nature of an absolute God-who has infinite love, but also infinite righteousness and justice-and other complete divine qualities.   He cannot eternally allow sin to continue for eternity…that is why He sacrifices in ways unimaginable to bring us into His family.   How much He loves you, If you were God.

The Important Conclusion

If the most important part  of Gods life is sharing the greatest part of life with mankind-that being Himself…just maybe a light bulb should turn on, and make this the most important part of our life-having God in our heart –in our lives.

Jn. 3:16

This is what God desires for us.

Well Bill, you mention you believe what the Bible says, quite frankly however, I have not come to believe this way-yetJ We tend to forget, every believer in the Lord at one time did not believe in the Biblical explanation of eternal life.   We all had to make a personal decision to bring Jesus into our lives-more specifically, into our hearts.   In closing, I just wanted to admit to you, I did not understand this when I argued with Christians-before I became one.   Evil, and those who mistakenly are influence by evil…and even my own bias-allowed a tragic distortion to hide this great truth.   Do not allow this to happen to you.   Whatever you have been told, what ever bias you have allowed to enter your world view-know this…

God sent His Son, sacrificed the most horrific death-taking on all the horrors of the worlds sin-simply, because He wants to love us.     Wow, how could I have been sooo wrong!
