No Problem

The Lord was giving my twin bro a nudge….to look up the word problem in the Word (I told him I had to share this…found it interesting)  🙂

The word problem in Greek (the word you would find in the New Testament) is problema.   Compound word…pro + blema

the word ‘pro’ means ‘to go forward’ …and we get words like protect (to go out-forward  to defend someone, something), Program….going forward with our grammar or message…also attaching pro to any agenda or political ideas we ‘go forward’ with.

Blema comes from ballien ‘to throw’…which stems from ballistician , where we get the word ballistics.   Thus ‘problem’ literally means ‘throwing forward a projectile’.

The problem with problema is that it is not in the Bible!

Why not??

Could it be that the common adage …’no problem’ had real meaning in the Scripture?

When we take something in our hand and throw it out…..by natural laws that object will come to rest and stop.   If we do the same with our life,  project  our life ‘as we see fit’…by spiritual laws…our direction for life will also come to rest..i.e.   we  become stuck in our direction and path of life.

That’s the problem, our forward motion in life gets stuck if we project our life in our own direction and strength…

We create a barrier to our path when we don’t use the Lord as our direction.

Literally, our life becomes motionless  when we go forward with our directives or  plans and not the Lords.  Thus it could be said, living our lives defined by the word problem becomes the problem.

Psalm 37:23   The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Psalm 119:133   Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.

Proverbs 16:9  In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.

The reason the word problema is not in the Word is because in reality there are no problems in life (my faith has not caught up to this fact..lol).

What the Word does mention that life has…

1) Stumbling Blocks….when our heart is not continually surrendering to His will, we become blinded and numb to His direction.   This ‘difficulty in  seeing’  and lack of direction is self-inflicted.    The problem is not lack of light on the path, but not seeking Him with our whole heart for His direction

Jeremiah 29:13   And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

1 John 2:10 Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.   (the stumbling blocks of hate and resentment-it takes the light out of our path). See 1 Cor. 8;9, Mat. 23:13

2) Ailing   Yes, there is a curse for sin, the whole universe groans for it’s final redemption.

Romans 8:19-21   For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God….  that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into … the glory of the children of God.

Death, sickness, not seeing the fullness of the Lord is all a result of this curse.

Revelation 22:3  And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: (When the Lord reigns on earth).

Until we see Him Face to Face….we will in many ways struggle with this curse.   1 Cor. 13:12.

Abiding in the Lord however causes us be under His protection while ‘in this world Eph 2:2’…again, No Problem with the Lord.

John 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. See Phil. 4:13

3) Trials and Tribulations   To be honest, the Lord has showed me my weaknesses in this area not my strengths.   I need to be preparing ‘now’ to become stronger in Him.   He promises He will be there as we trust in Him.

2 Corinthians 12:9   And he hath said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Not only will He make us stronger, He will give us His grace, His presence to have His glory and love increase in this World.

2 Corinthians 4:17   Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.

Problems are not in His Word or His World…His love,  grace and just verdicts for this world automatically eliminates problems.

Thank you Lord for sharing this to my bro….help us have the strength and faith to believe this fully.
